TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
